Answering this question has been a major focus of cosmologists ever since the debate about which model of the Universe was the correct one began. Instead, because of repulsive forces brought about by quantum effects of gravity, the Universe will bounce back to an expanding one. The relationship between capacitance and plate separation for a parallel plate capacitor is well known: C = κ εoA/d which shows that capacitance is inversely proportional to separation distance (d). It is inspired by systems theory and systems thinking, and based on the theoretical work of Roger Barker, Gregory Bateson, Humberto Maturana and others. To obtain the (x’,t’)-coordinates of a point defined in (x,t)-coordinates, we start at the point, and: (i) move parallel to the green lines, to find the intersection with the (red) t’-axis, which is marked with the x’-coordinates; and: (ii) move parallel to the red lines, to find the intersection with the (green) x’-axis, which is marked with the t’-coordinates.

I cannot speak here of the many highly interesting applications which Albert Einstein has made of this principle. Basically, a chaotic system is one in which any uncertainty in the state at time $t=0$ leads to exponentially larger uncertainties in the state as time goes on, and a non-chaotic system is one in which any initial uncertainty in the state decays away or at least stays steady with time. Entrainment is the process whereby two interacting oscillating systems, which have different periods when they function independently, assume the same period.
