Hi, welcome to the new site! I’m really excited aBOUT (whoops) about what I’m going to try to do. I’m going to attempt to post and link to and generally mention all the things in this world that I think are awesome!
I’m also going to release new music, for one month at a time, each month a new song. I’m going to sell them for $1.29 and then take them down and replace them when they’ve been up for 30 days. It’s going to be FUN!!!
I read a great interview with you, and I was surprised to learn that you play the musical saw! Just wanted to let you know that there is a Musical Saw Festival in NYC every July – you might want to go play there: http://www.musicalsawfestival.org
its about time , looking foward too new music !
This is gonna be awesome!
Jake, great to see and hear about this site! I just pre ordered the reissue of one jug of wine, two vessels. I bought the original from you guys in nyc 2008 or so at the Mercury Lounge. I was living in brooklyn you guys drove my girlfriend and i back to brooklyn that night to drink.
Anyway, can’t wait to be able to see what you are creating at the moment. I’ve been wondering if you guys are working on a new Neva Dinova album?
Best,
Benjamin Paul
well done bro!
I was hoping that the songs would be $1.28. Could you send me one with the last few seconds missing?
i certainly can!! 🙂
something like a total YEAH!
How you find ideas for articles, I am always lack of new ideas for articles. Some tips would be great
this is the best!
maybe im dumb and dont know, but is that you on that track with Aless’s Ark??..also is that your outline in the vid??..
hey man, i think i tried to send you an email about that, but don’t know if you got it. i sang with alessi on a few of the songs that are on her record. she is one of my very favorite musicians ever!! and yes, that was my grizzly and haggard outline that makes an appearance in the video for the horse. i remember the director saying to me,”which side do you consider your good side?” then i knew i was destined for a squiggly outline instead of the tight close-up that i’d been preparing for. sure, you bet i was disappointed
jake
